“Staff understood where people required support to reduce the risk of avoidable harm. Staff understood how to support people when they displayed distressed behaviours. Staff provided effective reassurance and people responded well. The provider conducted assessments to evaluate and minimise risks to people's safety and wellbeing. Care plans contained explanations of the control measures for staff to follow to keep people safe.”
The staff at Edmund House provide a memorable and amazing experience for its residents including my parents. The activities they provide is truly first class and they go above and beyond.
Son of resident, January 2024, carehome.co.uk
My father went for respite care after being in hospital. From the moment he arrived, he felt looked after and reassured. I can genuinely say the staff were wonderful with him, nothing was too much trouble. They managed to get him independent again and more like his normal self.
Daughter of resident, January 2024, carehome.co.uk
My husband has such excellent care from really caring staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them to do for him and me. The place was really beautifully presented, and everywhere was super clean. The food was very nice, with really good selections.
